    Three buyer-signal vendors were acquired in three weeks — HubSpot took Warmly, Zoom took Common Room, Clarify took Seam AI — making five in eight months, with an identical shape every time: a company with distribution buys the signal layer feeding the CRM, not the CRM. In the same month Clay, Common Room, ZoomInfo, Attio and Microsoft all shipped command lines and MCP servers, because the GTM stack's primary user is turning into a program.

    Salesforce Bought Fin for $3.6B and Crossed $1.2B in Agent Revenue

    Salesforce acquired Intercom's Fin for $3.6B — the customer-service agent Intercom built by pivoting its roughly $100M support-SaaS into an agent business — the same week it reported Agentforce at $1.2B ARR (+205%). Anthropic shipped Fable 5 and Mythos 5, then the US government moved to suspend Fable 5 access. The forward-deployed engineer became a named hiring category, and the autonomous "AI SDR" kept losing its teardowns.
