    Salesforce acquired Intercom's Fin for $3.6B — the customer-service agent Intercom built by pivoting its roughly $100M support-SaaS into an agent business — the same week it reported Agentforce at $1.2B ARR (+205%). Anthropic shipped Fable 5 and Mythos 5, then the US government moved to suspend Fable 5 access. The forward-deployed engineer became a named hiring category, and the autonomous "AI SDR" kept losing its teardowns.
