Instructions
-
Run the community-reconnaissance drill to discover and rank 10-15 alumni, campus, and professional org communities where your ICP is active. Use the community-directory-search fundamental to find LinkedIn alumni groups, university Slack workspaces, professional association chapters, and industry Discord servers.
-
Join 3-5 top-ranked communities. Observe for 2-3 days: note tone, common topics, posting frequency, and what content gets engagement. Human action required for communities needing approval.
-
Run the community-content-posting drill to create 1-2 value-first content pieces per community: LinkedIn Group discussion posts (150-300 words), Slack/Discord messages (under 200 words), or forum posts. Lead with expertise, reference your community affiliation, include soft CTAs only if natural. Track all links with UTM parameters.
-
Monitor posts for 48 hours. Reply to every comment substantively. If someone expresses interest, offer a specific next step. Log every interaction: community name, type, outcome.
-
Run the threshold-engine drill to evaluate: pull referral sessions from PostHog, DMs and meeting requests from activity log, new contacts from Attio. Compare against pass threshold.
