Instructions

  1. Define 2-3 core engagement events (not vanity metrics) that represent real product value.

  2. Run the usage-drop-detection drill manually: compute per-account 30-day baselines, compare to last 7 days, filter for 30%+ drops.

  3. Export flagged accounts with: name, email, baseline weekly activity, current weekly, percentage drop.

  4. Cross-reference with Attio for plan tier and MRR. Sort by highest-value accounts with steepest drops.

  5. Pick top 10 accounts. Send a personal email from the account owner referencing their specific usage pattern, asking a direct question, and offering help.

  6. Track responses and PostHog re-engagement over 14 days.

  7. Run threshold-engine drill: pass = at least 3 of 10 re-engage within 14 days.

  8. If FAIL, adjust engagement signals or drop thresholds and re-run.
