Instructions

  1. Run the icp-definition drill to identify which template platforms your ICP uses (Notion, Figma, Airtable) and what workflow topics they care about.

  2. Select 1 template topic that solves a real workflow problem, naturally connects to your product, and works standalone without requiring your product.

  3. Select 2-3 marketplaces: Notion Marketplace, Gumroad, Figma Community, or Airtable Universe.

  4. Run the marketplace-template-creation drill: research high-demand low-competition topics using Clay, build the template with sample data and embedded UTM-tracked CTAs, publish to primary marketplace, cross-publish to 1-2 secondary marketplaces.

  5. Add CTAs inside the template linking to your product: {your-url}?utm_source={marketplace}&utm_medium=marketplace&utm_campaign=template-{slug}

  6. Human action required: create the actual template content. The agent handles research, descriptions, metadata, and tracking.

  7. Log all listings in Attio with: template name, marketplace, listing URL, date published, status.

  8. Promote the template: share on LinkedIn and Twitter/X, post in relevant communities (Reddit, Slack groups), add to your product resources page.

  9. Monitor daily for 2 weeks: check marketplace dashboards for downloads, check PostHog for UTM-tagged traffic, track form submissions or trial starts from marketplace-sourced sessions.

  10. Run the threshold-engine drill to evaluate: PASS (>= 50 downloads, >= 1 lead) proceed to Baseline. MARGINAL (>= 50 downloads, 0 leads) improve CTA and re-run. FAIL (< 50 downloads) fix listing keywords and cover image.
