Instructions

  1. Run feature-readiness-gating drill to select one underused feature (<30% adoption) with clear benefit and PostHog tracking.

  2. Build target cohort: 30-50 active users who have not used this feature in 60 days but use related features.

  3. Run feature-announcement drill to create benefit-led in-app spotlight via Intercom (banner/card, not modal) with deep link to feature.

  4. Create follow-up email via Loops for non-engagers 48 hours later.

  5. Human review: approve copy, targeting, and deep link before launch.

  6. Track PostHog events: spotlight_delivered, spotlight_clicked, feature_used.

  7. Monitor daily for 7 days: impressions, CTR, feature trial rate, session recordings.

  8. Run threshold-engine drill: pass if ≥20% of targeted users tried the feature.

  9. If fail, diagnose weakest funnel step (delivery, click, or trial) and re-run.

  10. If pass, proceed to Baseline to prove the format holds as a recurring series.
