Instructions

  1. Run the icp-definition drill to document your ICP: company size, industry, job titles, pain points, triggering events.

  2. Run the build-prospect-list drill to source 40 contacts from Clay matching your ICP. Each contact needs a LinkedIn URL (all 40) and X handle (20 of 40).

  3. Split into 2 groups: 20 for LinkedIn, 20 for X. Assign to the channel where each prospect is more active.

  4. Write 3 DM variants per channel (6 total). LinkedIn: under 300 chars, reference specific content, bridge to pain point, low-friction ask. X: under 280 chars, same structure.

  5. Days 1-5 LinkedIn: view profiles, like 2-3 posts per prospect, comment on one post each, send connection request on Day 5.

  6. Days 1-5 X: like 2-3 posts per prospect, reply to one post each, retweet one post, send DM on Day 5.

  7. Send all 40 DMs manually. Log each in Attio with date, variant used, and channel.

  8. Monitor for 7 days. Classify each reply as positive, neutral, or negative. For positive replies, continue conversation and offer meeting link.

  9. Run threshold-engine drill: count DMs sent, positive replies, and meetings booked.

  10. Pass: >=2 positive replies AND >=1 meeting booked. If pass, document winning variants and proceed to Baseline.
